'kariyilakkili' - (Indian Babbler Bird)

They are a group,
of ten birds( seven sisters )
with cheerful chat,
having breakfast.

Not sure the name
of the bird exactly.
I have seen them in my
village in seasons
mostly during summer vacations.

People called them
as 'kattukada' or 'kariyilakkili' regionally
I  want to call them with
second name
kariyila-kkili  means 'dried leaf - bird'

Exactly the birds are seemed,
as dried leaves with life
in colour
And very vibrant in move
as a leaf in wind.

Sure
they are those leaves
got a rebirth
as birds.

A nice concept to every leaf
break bonds
to get wings and rebirth
as a bird.

The old Palm Tree

She is there
still and silent,
sometimes some words
with wind.

No one knows
when did she sprouts,
Very old than
my late grand mother.
As grandmother she also
have a pleasant smiled face.

She witnessed
the birth of our school,
she does know
everyone, gone by this way
from the first batch.

If she has some special
power to read  minds.
I like to believe
she has such a power.
And if someone has a ear
to hear her
she would share
the minds
of many wayfarers'.

But no one has a ear
to hear her
so
she is there
still and silent.

life is simple

life is simple
beautiful than most beautiful flower
but always make it complex one
and render sufferings

A day,
after that
the day flowers...
at shades of night
unnoticed and unattended,
shortly 'a tomb is nothing'.

Our clutched hands pour
warmness and firmness,
comfort and support,

We will walk together
through the shadows
of the sky touched trees,
until the path flood in darkness.
